He was born on Saturday, April 21, 1956 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Doil Roscoe Smitherman and the late Mary Inez Payne Smitherman.
He was a Welder.
Surviving are his Son, David Todd Smitherman of Maplesville, AL; Daughter, Holly (Steven) Penley of Clanton, AL; 3 Grandchildren, Emma Penley of Clanton, AL, Leelah Penley of Clanton, AL, Kenley Minor of Clanton, AL; 5 Brothers, Doug (Charlotte) Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Daniel (Patty) Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Bobby (Mary Jane) Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Roland (Debra) Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Roger (Bonnie) Smitherman of Maplesville, AL; 2 Sisters, Wanda (Steve) Vistline of Pensacola, FL, Annette Smitherman of Maplesville, AL; Brother-in-law, Tom Carter of Maplesville, AL; Mother of his Children, Pam Smitherman of Clanton, AL.
He was preceded in death by his Son, Eric Randl Smitherman and Sister, Alice Faye Carter.
Friends will be received from 6-8, Monday, December 17, 2012 @ Mt. Carmel #2.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Baptist #2 Church with Rev. Scott Tuell officiating.
Interment will follow in Mulberry Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, Alabama.
