robbie (smitherman) teagle
Mrs. Robbie Teagle, 29, died in
a Shreveport hospital April 19, 1948, following an illness of several
months. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Hodge Methodist
Church with the pastor, Rev. J. A. Taylor, officiating. Nephews of the
deceased acted as pallbearers.
The deceased was a sister of Mrs. Waymon Payne of Dodson. Surviving are her husband, Earl H. Teagle and four children, Bobbie Earl, Jackie Sue, Kenneth, and Lynda Gale, of Shreveport; her father, B. M. [sic R. J.] Smitherman, Jonesboro; seven sisters, Mrs. Payne, Dodson; Mrs. Edith Noah, Delhi; Mrs. Armer Maxwell, Jonesboro; Mrs. Gussie Jonilz [sic Jonietz], Los Angeles; Mrs. Ardie Morris, Lufkin; Mrs. Hallot Sanders and Mrs. Nellie Warner, Monroe; three brothers, Elzie, Dawson, and R. L. Smitherman of Epps.
