roland gene smitherman
Mr. Roland Smitherman, 81,
passed away on September 8, 2016. He is survived by his son, Scott
Smitherman; grandchildren, Jessica Larson and Justin Larson; sister,
Patsy (Robert) Evans; son-in-law, Kevin and Jill Larson;
brother-in-law, Jack Cleveland; nieces, Jan Hopkins , Dena Mulher and
Laurie Pugh; nephews, Jack Cleveland Jr., Rob Evans and Patrick Evans,
and his caregiver of 12 years, Anne Smitherman Findley. He is preceded
in death by his loving and caring daughter, Donna Smitherman Larson.
Donna was a wonderful wife, mother and a very faithful child of God.
Mr. Smitherman was a witty and friendly man. He leaves behind lots of
friends who will hold the memories of him forever. A memorial service
will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made
to the Kidney Foundation, or to the Cancer Foundation.
