Funeral services were held in Augusta, Ga., today for Rudoplph S. Smitherman, former Birmingham resident.
Mrs. Smitherman, who had lived in Augusta since moving from Birmingham, died in Atlanta earlier this week.
A retired foreman for the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, Mr. Smitherman is survived by three sons and seven daughters.
