Ruth Ann Smitherman, 60, of
Senatobia, died Saturday, January 1 at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto
in Southaven. Mrs. Smitherman was retired from Chromcraft Furniture.
Services were Monday, January 3 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia
with interment in Cathey Cemetery in Senatobia. Pallbearers were Jimmy
Steward, James Bud Floate, Larry Roberson, Rod Patrick, Cliff England,
and Chad Roberson. Rev. Clint Harris and Rev. Joe Glossom officiated.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Smitherman; one daughter, Rebecca Lantrip of Senatobia; three sons, Randy Smitherman, Richard Smitherman, and Eddie Smitherman, all of Senatobia; one sister, Darlene Nelson of Senatobia; one brother, Harry Floate of Senatobia; and three grandchildren.
