N. Smitherman, 64, of Northport passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021
at Hospice of West Alabama. A graveside funeral service will be held on
Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2pm from Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of
Devotion. Memory Chapel, a Dignity Provider is honored to be entrusted
with final arrangements.Mr. Smitherman was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed music, especially singing and playing his guitar. He retired from the Tuscaloosa County shop, where he worked as a Diesel and heavy equipment mechanic. He also enjoyed flying and was very proud of his pilots license that he earned early in life. He was preceded in death by his parents "Jack" and Catherine Smitherman.
