STEVE ONEAL “STURDY” CLECKLER,
age 47 of Clanton, passed away on October 6, 2014 at his residence. He
was born in Alabama on December 1, 1966.
He was a carpenter.
He is survived by: Wife, Suzanne Cleckler of Clanton; Daughter, Amber Cleckler of Montevallo; Step-Daughter, Samantha Harper of Tuscaloosa; Step-Son, Jacob Barefield of Montevallo; Step-Son, Jessie Barefield of Montevallo; 5 Grandchildren; Mother, Norma Smitherman of Clanton; and Brothers: Terry Ellison, Ronny Smitherman, Billy Smitherman, and Tony Smitherman all of Clanton.
He is preceded in death by his Step-Father, Bobby Joe Smitherman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Patterson officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Old Mt. Zion Cemetery in Clanton.
The family request no flowers, please donate towards the funeral expenses at the funeral home.
