Smitherman, 46, of Scobey, were at 3 p.m. today at National Funeral
Home with Harold Simmons officiating. Burial followed in the Hebron
Baptist Church Cemetery in Grenada.
Mrs. Smitherman died January 20, 2008, at the Grenada Lake Medical Center. She was born on July 6, 1961, in Grenada and was the daughter of Bobby Clifton Hollis and Peggy Jean Hollis.
Mrs. Smitherman had been employed as a secretary at Southland Oil Company and was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Grenada.
In addition to her parents, survivors include the father of her children, Robert Lewis Smitherman Jr. of Grenada; two daughters, Katrina Shae Austin and Corissa Nicole Smitherman, both of Grenada; one son, Jason Daniel Smitherman of Starkville; two brothers, Bobby Hollis Jr. of Cascilla and Alfred Jackson Hollis of Grenada; and two grandchildren, Tristan Austin and Audree Austin; fiancee, Thomas Quarels.
National Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
