Suellen
Smitherman, age 52, of Brent, Alabama passed away on Saturday March 9,
2019. Suellen was born September 1, 1966. She was the light of her
family. She was loved by many. She was an avid reader of books, with
the Bible being her favorite. She was a hobbyist, always looking for a
new hobby, with floral arrangements, puzzles, making t-shirts and
designing bulletin boards as some of her favorites. She loved coffee
and putting in a hard day's work. Suellen was always willing to help
other. The church and her grandson were her life. She had faith like no
other and will be missed by many, but the most by her family.Suellen is survived by her husband of 35 years, Russell Smitherman, her son, Blake (Jessica) Smitherman of Brent, Her grandson, Sylas Smitherman, Two brothers; Darrell (Carmen) Ragland of North Carolina and Tim (Shawna) Ragland of Remlap, one sister; Nesie (Steve) Miller of Brent and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son; Nathan Wade Smitherman, her parents, Earl and Dean Ragland, a brother, Walter Ragland and a sister, Teresa Steele.
