ABERDEEN - Tammy Holloway, 40, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 1, 1967, in Amory. She was a resident of Monroe County most of her life. She was a seamstress and a member of the Church of Acts in Ingomar. She enjoyed singing.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Dr. Phil Kidd and Bro. Randy Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Haughton Memorial Park in Amory.

Survivors include her father, Wilburn Holloway of Pontotoc; her mother, Beatrice Smitherman Nelson of Aberdeen; one son, Josh Kennedy of New Albany; two daughters, Alexis Kennedy and Layla Verrell, both of New Albany; three brothers, Wayne Holloway of Winfield, Ala., Randall Holloway of New Albany and Chris Holloway of Mantachie; four sisters, Loretta Collao and Janet Howell, both of Tupelo, Diana Houk of Morgan Hill, Calif., and Tonya Downey of Aberdeen; one grandchild, Malachi Kennedy; a special friend, Cecil Reich of Amory.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell Holloway.

Pallbearers will be J.L. Verrell, Johnny Verrell, John Allen Verrell, Kevin Reich, James Smith, Travis York, Alan Holloway and Daniel Downey.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Sunday.
