Teresa Jean Smitherman, 53, of East
Bend died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at her home. She was born in Forsyth
County on
Feb. 26, 1952, to Edgar M. and Aggie Speer Smitherman. She was a member
of
Stony Knoll United Methodist Church. Surviving are her parents, Edgar
M. and
Aggie Speer Smitherman of East Bend; a special aunt, Betty Collins of
Winston-Salem; a special uncle, Merle Speer of East Bend; and several
cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at
Stony Knoll
United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Janet Anderson
officiating. The
family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening, Oct. 6, at Huff
Funeral
Home in East Bend. Memorials may be made to Stony Knoll United
Methodist Church
