- Mr. Vincent Chris Shiver, 29, formerly of Cataula, Ga., died
Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, at his residence. Mr. Shiver was born July 7,
1973, in
Columbus Ga., to Lawrence and Judy D. Shiver. He had lived in Dobson
for the
past eight years and was employed with M&S Communications in
King.
Mr.
Shiver graduated from Harris County High School and was a U.S. Army
veteran.
Surviving are his parents; his wife, Jennifer Smitherman Shiver; two
sons, Tailor Shiver and Austin Shiver, both of Dobson; three brothers,
James
Snead Jr. and his wife, Valera of Atlanta, Ga., Steve Shiver of Phenix
City,
Ala. and Troy Stuart of Columbus, Ga.; two sisters, Teri Nansel and
husband
Michael of Cataula, Ga. and Robin Shumate of Columbus, Ga.; his
grandmother,
Louise Davis of Phenix City, Ala.; hisGlenna Mae Wooten

11, 1926 - Mar 7, 2005 grandfather, James Virgil Shiver of
Phenix City, Ala.; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kimber and
Connie Smitherman of Dobson. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at Davis & Son Funeral Home Chapel in
Dobson. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his two sons, c/o First
