wilda "bill" (pratt) moore
Youngest child of the late Ada
and William Pratt, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2014, at the
age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin "Junior"
Moore; siblings, Juanita Wilson, Harvey Pratt, Essie Vernon, Robert
Smitherman, Ada Lee Glasscock, Marvin Smitherman, and Madison
Smitherman. She is survived by children, Randy Moore (Sue) of Chippewa
Falls, WI, Doug Moore (Bobbie) of Calera and Sharon Terrell (Jim) of
Alabaster; grandchildren, Chris Moore (Lori) of Eagle CO, Bradley Moore
(Megan) and Blakley Tidmore (Powers) of Calera, Ryan Terrell (Ashley)
and Marly Terrell of Alabaster; great grandchildren, Avery, Brynleigh
and Vera. Wilda grew up in Randolph, AL and eventually moved to
Alabaster. She worked at Siluria Cotton Mill and Thompson High School.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Alabaster for over 50
years, and a member of Order of Eastern Star. The family will receive
friends on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 1 to 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson
Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home
chapel with Rev. Mike Byars officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson
Memorial Gardens, South. -
