FLOYD
LEE SMITHERMAN, age 80 of Lawley, passed away on May 23, 2019. He was
born in Chilton County on February 8, 1939; the son of the late Nolen
Floyd Smitherman and the late Evie Braswell Smitherman.He was a former carpenter.
He is survived by: Sister, Brenda Smitherman of Jemison; Sister, Margie (Steve Lucas) Smitherman of Jemison; Nephews: Davy Lee (Anna) Minor of Hoover, Scotty (Megan) Smith of Jemison, and Steven (Bridget) Lucas of Jemison; and a host of great nephews, great nieces and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his Wife, Joyce Scott Smitherman.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 3:00pm from Old Union Baptist Church in Randolph, AL with Rev. Donald Bice, Rev. Robert Ingram, and Rev. Kelvin Smitherman officiating.
The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in the Old Union Baptist Cemetery in Randolph, AL.
