PRAIRIETOWN — Karen Sue (Koller)
Meyer, 71, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 at 5:52 p.m. at her
residence in Prairietown, Illinois.
Karen was born April 20, 1949 in Alton, Illinois, to the late Donald Koller and Patricia Smitherman.
She married Vernon Meyer on Nov. 28, 1970 at St. Paul's United Church in Carlinville, Illinois & he survives.
Karen was Homemaker & Dairy Farmer's Wife.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Prairietown.
Karen enjoyed going out for fish on Friday nights & listening to live music with friends.
She also enjoyed sewing & crafting.
The Funeral Service will be Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 at noon at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Prairietown. Rev. Brandon Larson will officiate.
Remains will be cremated following the funeral service.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Meyer of Prairietown; two daughters, Deanna Robertson of Prairietown and Christy (Gerald) Jones of Carlinville; two grandchildren, A.J. Robertson of Prairietown and Martin Jones of Carlinville, Illinois; one brother, Todd (Becky) Koller of Carlinville; one sister, Gwynn (Rick) Howard of Springfield, Illinois; along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Presley & Christine; one brother, Duane Koller; and one nephew, David Koller.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Prairietown.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter's Lutheran School in Prairietown.
