EAST BEND - Mrs. Pauline Smitherman Oldham, 87, of East Bend, died Sunday Dec. 3, 2006, at her home. She was born in Yadkin County to T.D. and Mae Beane Smitherman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Oldham, and four sisters, Vera Poindexter, Jamie Perkins, Zena Mae Wall, and Ruth Hupp. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Huff Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ottis Hurst officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour. Huff Funeral Home is serving the Oldham family.
