CENTERVILLE - Funeral services
for Charlie Smitherman, 82, of Centreville were to be held today at 2
p.m. at the chapel of the Jack Lee and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev.
Willard Scott and the Rev. George Vernon officiating. Burial was
to be in the Centreville Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Smitherman of Tampa, John Smitherman of Ohio and Ray Smitherman of California; four daughters, Mrs. Lorene Jones and Mrs. Glenna Fay Brown, both of Oak Ridge, Tenn,. Verla Woofgang of Norfolk, Va., and Miss Darlene Smitherman of Big Stone Gap, Va.; and two brothers, Mack Smitherman of Centreville and Andy Smitherman of Randolph.
