Services will be held Friday for Gary Smitherman, 61, of Cupertino, who died Monday in a Santa Clara hospital.
A native of Kennard, Texas, he had lived in the Lemoore and Hanford areas for several years where he managed apartments. More recently he had lived in Cupertino.
Smitherman was a member of the Maritime Lodge No. 239 F&AM of Seattle, Wash.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; his father, Robert Smitherman of Texas; two sisters, Shermie Lou Smitherman and Renia Kighte, both of Texas; and grandchildren, Debora, Eric and Tina Dittmar, all of Hanford.
Services will be held Friday at the Herbert Calloway Funeral Home in Crockett, Texas. Burial will in in Ivie Cemetery in Crockett, Texas.
