"Smitty" 57, of Prattville, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 17th at 10:30 AM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Durden Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father James D. Smitherman, Sr., paternal and maternal grandparents.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Lou Smitherman of Prattville, four brothers and a sister-in-law: Timothy and Kim Smitherman of Elmore, Randy, Gordon, and Clarence Smitherman all of Prattville, a host of nieces, nephews, and his beloved Beagle, "Bear".
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Ridout's Prattville Chapel Directing
