Mark Thomas Smitherman, 77, of
Coatesville, died Jan. 24, 2015. Mark was born Feb. 16, 1937 in
Mooresville to Wendell W. and Lois (Beck) Smitherman, whom he resided
with most of his life on the family farm. Mark attended school in Amo.
He was employed at Indiana Bell, Goodwill Industries, and Putnam County
Comprehensive Services in addition to other various workshops. Mark was
a member of the Belleville Church of Christ.
Service: 1 p.m., Wed. Jan. 28, 2015 in Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home , Danville, with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial - Coatesville Cemetery. Survivors include his brothers, John (Shirley) Smitherman-Danville, Marvin (Colleen) Smitherman-Oaktie, SC; sisters, Mary Jane Hartung-Danville, Bonnie (Tony) Covey-Little Rock, AR; several nieces and nephews; and 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Joe Wendell Smitherman.
